SOURCING AND OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

 

We are looking to add a motivated, proactive, and organized individual as a Sourcing and Operations Support Specialist to our National Recruitment Team in our Tacoma, WA office! The National recruitment team supports all 25 CareerStaff offices with internal hiring and training needs. The Sourcing and Operations Support Specialist role is an exciting entry level opportunity for someone interested in beginning a career in Recruiting! This individual will support the internal recruiting team with resume retrieval, creative sourcing, and operational support activities. Additionally, this role supports the Training and Development Team with quality assurance and operational support.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Provide exceptional sourcing, quality assurance, and operational support to the National Recruitment team and CareerStaff offices. 
  2. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with CareerStaff employees and hiring managers.
  3. Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leaders.
  4. Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house ATS to identify and recruit the very best candidates, as well as making sure appropriate follow up and documentation happens for each candidate.
  5. Work with offices to utilize in house college listings & diversity related organizations to maximize our opportunities to attract and recruit alumni / diversity candidates.
  6. Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge.
  7. Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position, (e.g. “company sell”, benefits, center information, mentoring, etc.)
  8. Prescreen candidates using approved tools and present written information to recruiters or contacts as appropriate for positions.
  9. Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, and other recruiting activities through reporting mechanism.
  10. Work closely with recruiter(s) to develop sourcing strategies and candidate profiles based on position requirements.
  11. Demonstrates ability to source and recruit for a broad/deep range of positions.
  12. Work with offices to receive updated information on social events, company outings, open orders, and receive pictures to create interesting postings and/or offers on social media.
  13. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications and the use of email.
  14. Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases
  15. Must be able to quickly assimilate technical information and build solutions to the optimal balance of meeting business needs, beating competitors, and operating within financial resource constraints.
  16. Coordinates conference and job fair participation and/or attendance, representing CareerStaff when needed.
  17. Runs and organizes quality assurance reporting for the National Recruitment Team as well as local offices.
  18. Performs other duties as requested.

 

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.
  2. Must be able to manage competing demands, accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
  3. Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills are required.
  4. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  5. Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
  6. Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.

 

JOB SKILLS:

  1. Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office suite of products and internet search is required.
  2. Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and potential candidates.
